  Went in to get STD testing. I have had partners and never been tested, and was starting a new relationship and wanted to be 100% certain before we had sex that I was clean (Results came back clean). I waited for probably 30 minutes before I was able to be seen, which is what I expected. Talked to an advisor on the cost (have no money so it was free) then waited a short time before I was taken back to do the blood work. All was going well until I went in the room for my physical exam which is the part done by a doctor. I am a lesbian, so I filled out that I don't use condoms, duh. I even stated my sexual identity on the form. I wear a clear spot bandage on my cheek because I have a cyst there and I am a chronic picker. (I have had 5 cysts so far, they are more likely to occur where your skin is damaged. I had this 3rd cyst over an existing scar and had been to a dermatologist to confirm it was a cyst (again) but could not afford to get it removed just yet (they are considered cosmetic so I have to pay out of pocket for removal). The nurse kept saying "oh you should use a condom every time" and I was like thinking "do you even know how this works??" Then getting my physical the doctor kept insinuating that my cyst was herpes and that because I don't use condoms, that is how it got there. Even though I stated (for the third time) that I don't have sex with men, ergo there was no condom needed. Very condescending and rude. Like the whole reason I was there is so that I didn't spread STDs unknowingly, which is what the health department advises that you do. It has been 3 years, I am now married to that partner. This doctor's attitude has stuck with me and bugged me this whole time.

  They have a Dental Outreach Program on Fridays. They are extremely qualified and compassionate not to mention affordable! Wonderful program and personnel.

  Horrible on hold 30 minutes just to find out the one day there tarpon location does dental walk ins. After 20 minutes of holding on the dental line the lady comes on I ask her what day is there walk in for dental. Her response oh I don't know hold on lol what ur in the dental department answering there phones. Idiots everytime it never fails.
